At Aruba Beach Buddy, we want your rental experience to be straightforward, reliable and enjoyable. The following policy outlines the conditions under which cancellations, refunds and returns are handled. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations More Than 12 Days Before Rental Start
A full refund is issued for reservations cancelled more than 12 days before the scheduled rental date.
Cancellations Within 12 Days
Bookings cancelled within 12 days of the rental start date are not eligible for a refund. This ensures that equipment reserved specifically for your stay remains available.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only offered under the following circumstances:
Equipment Malfunction
If rental equipment becomes unusable due to a defect and a replacement cannot be provided within 24 hours, a refund will be issued for the unused portion of the rental period.
Service Errors by Aruba Beach Buddy
If we fail to deliver the equipment you ordered or deliver the incorrect items and are unable to correct the issue promptly, you may receive a partial or full refund.
3. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds are not provided for the following:
Change of Personal Plans
Refunds are not granted if you decide to shorten your rental or alter your plans after booking.
Force Majeure Events
No refunds are issued for events beyond our control such as natural disasters, government restrictions or travel disruptions.
4. Weather Policy
We do not offer refunds, credits or rescheduling options for weather related changes. Weather conditions may fluctuate, and this policy ensures fairness and consistency for all customers.
5. Equipment Care and Responsibility
Customers are responsible for returning all equipment in the same condition in which it was delivered.
Charges may apply for:
- Lost or missing items
- Damage caused by misuse
- Items returned in unacceptable condition
Repair or replacement costs may be charged to the card on file or deducted from the security deposit.
6. Late Return Policy
Return Time Agreement
All items must be returned to our delivery driver at the prearranged time.
Late Fees
A late fee of 20 dollars per hour applies to orders returned past the scheduled time.
Failure to Return
If equipment is not returned within 24 hours of the agreed time, the full replacement value may be charged in addition to any accumulated late fees.
7. Refund Process
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days. Your bank or credit card provider may require additional processing time.
8. Customer Obligations
Customers agree to:
- Review weather conditions and local advisories before booking
- Ensure someone over 18 is present at delivery and pickup
- Return all equipment clean and properly packed
- Use items responsibly and in accordance with any provided instructions
9. Policy Changes
Aruba Beach Buddy may update this policy whenever necessary. Changes take effect immediately once posted on our website. We encourage guests to review this policy before booking.
